Always Consider Fact Check
We know that information is available everywhere but the indeed question is how can people avoid fake information. Google is the number one website search engine wherein people gain the first basic idea of a certain topic. However, it is crucial to find credible information since different people are allowed to be published information. An information literate is able to recognize information that is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and effectively use information.
There are 4 ideas on how to fact-check the information. In evaluating we need to know the currency of the information. If the information is timely and newly fresh published. To locate the reliability, it should support claims with pieces of evidence. Recognize the authority which falls under the expert or professional who generates the idea or the information. Lastly, effectively know what is the purpose of the information. It is stated by Moffat, (2015), that the viewers who get the information must be able to view the media objectively to be able to find the right information.
